Bailieborough Community School: Congratulations to the Under 16 Boys Gaelic Football Team who won the Ulster Final last week in Templeport. The boys defeated Glenties (Co Donegal) with a score of 1-4 to 0-6. Although the score-line was low and scoring opportunities were limited during the game, there was still no shortage of excitement and drama. Sometimes matches are won by the force of determination, grit and appetite for the battle. The players showed they can win a match by displaying great courage and bravery. We would like to acknowledge the hard work of all the players and the support given to them by Mr Reilly and Mr Donohoe during the year. Thank you to all the supporters who travelled in large numbers and encouraged the players. It is a great achievement to win a second Ulster Final for this panel of players – heartiest congratulations to all involved.

Bailieborough Shamrocks : Press Release from the Club: Update from our Fundraising Committee

Hi everyone:

To each and every person that has bought a ticket for our Win a Dublin City Apartment or €250,000 cash draw we thank you very much.

This fundraising campaign is a once in a life time opportunity for our club, our town and communities that surround us. Our objective has not changed, we want to raise enough funds to create an incredible indoor and outdoor community facility with physical and mental health at its very core.

At present, we are not exactly at where we want to be. We have now taken the very difficult decision to postpone our draw, which now will take place on 11th July 2022.

This gives us the opportunity to raise the much needed funds to achieve our goals.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

‘Difficult Conversations’ webinar taking place on this Thursday the 17th  of February at19:30. A completely free event in conjunction with the HSE. Head over to www.eventbrite.ie to register or click the link on our Facebook page.

Every night until the 23th  February 2022 our club will be open and lit up for you, your family and friends to come and walk safety around our fully lit walking track.

We want everyone to come and join for Ireland Lights Up 2022!

Track your steps and log them My Life App for the club. We could be in with a chance to win some great prizes whilst getting fit..
