Bailieborough News. August 29th 2022 . Matthew J. Cullen.

Blessing of the Graves: The Blessing of the Graves will take place in St. Annes Cemetery, Bailieborough on Sunday, September 4th at 12 noon. As the Cemetery is vast, it is impossible for one Priest to Bless every single grave. Therefore, each family is asked to bring Holy Water to bless your individual plot.

This is the first such gathering in three years and people are encouraged to arrive in good time and to be patient, most especially, when leaving the Cemetery. Toilets will be available in the Cemetery grounds. If you are tidying your plot during the week, please bring a bag with you and take home anything you are removing from your family plot. Volunteers are needed to help with carparking. Please contact the Parish Office on 042 96 65117.
