East Cavan Gaels GAA Club – Hurling News 25th November 2019
A clinical and decisive win for our Under 17s in the league final in challenging conditions in Kingspan Breffni. A solid first 10 minutes, with a few early goals settled the lads down and set the tone for the rest of the half. Woodford came back physically strong, early in the second half but our lads weathered the storm well and with another couple of well taken goals and points ran out convincing winners. Congratulations to all. More silverware for this group most of whom will still be under 17 for the next couple of years.
Congrats to management of Shane, Kathryn and Pat.
Under 13s are now finished for the year. If we can secure an indoor venue then the Under 11s will squeeze in another couple of sessions. Players will receive a text.
