Bailieborough Cancer Comfort Ltd: Bailieborough Cancer Comfort wishes to thank all the performers, sponsors and to each and everyone who came to support us on our Variety Concert…. your support is greatly appreciated. Terrific weekend of Music, Dance, Comedy and Fun at the now Annual Variety Concert. Playing to full houses on both nights, the event gets better and better every year. Well done to everyone who helped in any way, to make the Concert such an outstanding success.

Mass of Consolation: A Mass of Consolation will be celebrated in St. Annes Church on Saturday evening next, November 23rd at 7.00pm, to remember parishioners who died and were buried in the Parish Cemetery since the 1st of November 2018. All are welcome to attend.

Christmas Fairs: Bailieborough Creative Hub are organising Christmas Fairs for the next 4 weeks from Sunday next, November 17th :  in Bailieborough Courthouse.
Sunday, 24th November – 12pm to 5pm.
Saturday, 30th November – 2pm to 8pm (Santa arriving in town and Christmas Lights switch on).
Sunday, 7th December – 12pm to 5pm.
Sunday, 14th December – 12pm to 5pm.

Bailieborough Mens/ Hen’s Shed: The Hen’s Shed currently meets each Wednesday evening in the Bexcourt Centre from 7:15 till 9pm, and each Thursday morning in the Library from 10 till 12 noon. Santa’a Coming to Town: Santa will be back in Bailieborough on Saturday, the 30th  of November at 5pm sharp, at the Market Square. After a great turn out last year, Santa has brought more helpers and promises you won’t be waiting as long In the cold. As in previous years, the ‘Tractor Parade of Lights’ will be bringing him to town. The town ‘Christmas Lights’ will also be switched on at this event. Everyone welcome.

Regretted Death: Deepest Sympathy is extended to wife,  Elena, daughters Amelia and Erin, sister Miriam, brothers-in-law Michael, Lilana, Ettore, Gianluca, Maurizia, Marta, Ivano, Simona and Bruno, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends on the death of Tom Whelehan, 45 Twin Oaks, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, who passed away, peacefully, in Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan on Friday, November 8th. Tom’s Funeral Mass took place in St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough on Monday, November 11th with burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Bowls: Bailieborough Community Bowls continue in the Community Centre on Wednesday evenings at 8.00pm. New members—both male and female are most welcome.

Dementia Information Morning: The Bailieborough Hens Shed are delighted to host Tina from Bluebird Care who will facilitate a morning of information and discussion about dementia on this Thursday morning, November 21st, from 10.00am to 12 noon, in Bailieborough Library. This event is open to everyone in the community, and we look forward to meeting you on the morning. Tea and coffee will be available.

Bailieborough Social Day Centre: The next get-together of the Bailieborough Social Day Centre will take place on Wednesday, November 27th in the Community Centre from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, for more music, chat, etc… New members are always most welcome.

Vincent’s Shop, Bailieborough: We are urgently seeking donations of Gents and Ladies clothing, especially Winter Coats, also paper and plastic bags that we can use in Vincent’s Shop. Thank You for all your kind donations of clothes, toys, bric-a-brac and for generously buying from the shop. All money raised is used for local deserving causes.

Family Time at your Library: ‘Family Time at Your Library’ is a nationwide celebration in Libraries in December. We’re inviting families to join us on Saturday, 7th  December for fun events for all ages. Amongst the activities will be, Puppet Shows, Art Workshops, Christmas Storytime and Treats!!  All welcome and it is free!! More details coming soon! Watch this space!

Mains Flushing may cause supply discolouration of the water and it is recommended that you allow 2—3 hours after the restoration time of 7.00pm for your supply to fully return. Bailieborough Shamrocks G.F.C.: Bailieborough Shamrocks Annual General Meeting takes place on Friday, 22nd  November 2019 at 8.30pm in the Clubrooms at St. Anne’s Park. Please make every effort to attend as this is the most important meeting of the year for the club.
