The death has occurred of Charlie CURRAN Cormeen, Bailieborough & Ivy House Proudstown Road Navan, Bailieborough, Cavan / Navan, Meath

The peaceful death has taken place of much loved Charlie Curran, surrounded by the loving care of his family, extended family of Ivy House and staff Proudstown Road Navan on Thursday 3rd November.

The love, care and compassion that was expressed to Charlie during his last years of his life by the staff of Ivy House allowed him to have a wonderful quality of life.

Charlie is survived by his treasured brothers Gerry, Tom, Stephen, John, Sisters Tutsy, Bernie, Breda, Annette, Claire, Joan, Frances, Olive and Catherine, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins and as many special friends in Ivy House who were his second family. Charlie is predeceased by his parents, his brother Noel and his sisters Masiy and Marta.

Charlie will repose at his brother Gerry’s residence, Relabeg, today, Thursday, from 7pm until 10pm and Friday, 4th November, from 12 noon until 5pm. Removal from his brother’s residence Friday evening at 7pm to arrive at Newcastle church at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 5th November, at 11am followed by burial in Moynalty Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Ivy House c/o Brian Curran Funeral Director.

As we bid farewell to Charlie we recall his life with gratitude, his beautiful smile and we pray that he will be embraced in the loving care of Our Gentle God. “Rest Gently Dear Charlie Your Time To Leave Us Has Come”
