The death has occurred of Matthew (Mattie) McCABE Goatstown, Dublin / Bailieborough, Cavan

McCABE, Matthew (Mattie) – (Goatstown and formerly of Kilnacross, Bailieboro, Co. Cavan) 24^thNovember 2021 (peacefully) in his 98^th year at St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers, sisters and daughter-in-law Veronica. He will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by his beloved wife Joan, sons John and Noel, his sister Johanna and his adored grandchildren Caoibhe and Barry, great grandchildren Ben, Bonnie and Alex, John’s partner Ciara, daughter-in-law Angie, grandson in Law Ali, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing at his home on Monday (29^th November) between 3 pm to 5 pm for family and close friends in line with COVID restrictions.
