‘Bailieborough 40th Anniversary Agricultural Show 2015 to be held on Saturday next, July 4th
Come along in 70’s dress to be claimed best dressed man/woman on the day to celebrate the theme of ‘Then and Now’. Other attractions on the day include the Macra na Feirme ‘National Farm Skills Challenge’ semi-finals, vintage displays, trade stands, sheep shearing demonstrations and lots more! Don’t forget to bring your dog along on the day! Classes for small, medium, big, giant breeds. Best dressed dog, prettiest bitch and most handsome dog plus the new class for the best rescue dog! Bring your pony along for the new handy pony class which involves doing everyday tasks while on horseback, class begins at 10am and runs for the whole day! Red Cross: Annual Senior’s ‘Tea Party’:

Walks commence at the car park on the right before Abbott’s Factory, Rockcorry Rd., Cootehill at 7.15pm. All welcome.
Bailieborough Credit Union—Notice to all members:
A Special General Meeting of Bailieborough Credit Union Ltd will be held on Tuesday, July 7th in the Bailie Hotel at 8.00pm to consider the proposed amalgamation of Bailieborough, Kingscourt and St. Mary’s, Moynalty Credit Unions. All members are urged to attend this very important meeting.
Legion of Mary:
The local ‘Legion of Mary’ meets each Monday night at 8.00pm in the Community Centre. New members are always welcome and encouraged to attend.
Bailieborough Community Alert:
Membership for another year is now due €5. Contact Kevin Carolan, 1 Pine Grove, Seamus Sheridan, Kells Road or Vincent Cooney, Galbolie. Recently it has come to the attention of Bailieborough Community Alert that Plant Pots, Baskets and Flowers have been stolen from the graves of deceased members of our community that are interred in St. Anne’s Cemetery. If anyone has any information about these thefts, please contact the local Garda Station or any member of Bailieborough Community Alert.

Holy Hour:
The monthly ‘Holy Hour’—hosted by Direction for Our Times will take place on Thursday evening, July 2nd in St Anne’s Church, beginning at 8 p.m. This will be followed by the Sacrament of Reconciliation. All are welcome.

East Cavan Gaels GAA Club Hurling News 29th June 2015:
Under 6/8/10; We will host Carrick Emmets this coming Wednesday at 6.45 in Bailieborough Shamrocks GAA grounds for a blitz therefore no Kingscourt training on Wednesday.
Under 12/14; Attention now moves to the Cavan Under 14 Championship with the first round scheduled for Wednesday 8th July in Ballyhaise/Redhills as we visit Annalee Gaels. There will also be some Under 11 blitzes in July also.
Under 16; The lads had a convincing win away to Truagh Gaels in the Monaghan league on Monday last. The next round is away to Monaghan Harps on Monday 6th July.
Training times and venues; If blitz on then no training.
Under 6/8/10; Kingscourt group; Blitz this Wed in Bailieborough.
Wednesdays 6-7.30 at Kingscourt Stars GAA grounds.
Bailieborough group; Friday 6-7.30 at the Community School pitch.

Tanagh Outdoor Adventure Camps are open and almost full. Please don’t leave it to the last minute. We have already closed some of the adventure camps.
