Bailieborough Model School: Air Fryer Cookery Demo:

Air Fryer Cookery Demo being held on this Friday, November 10th in Bailieborough Shamrocks GAA clubhouse (A82W654) at 8pm by Bailieborough Model School Parents Association.

Come and see some quick and healthy family friendly recipes, cooked on the night, sample the food and a raffle on the night to win an airfryer and other spot prizes.

Admission €10 on the door.

A great night to be had. Tea,Coffee and light refreshments served on the night. All welcome.

November Remembrance: Mass to remember parishioners, who have passed away since last November will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 7.00pm, in St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough. Please let concerned families know.

Bridge takes place every Tuesday evening in the Bailie Hotel at 7.30pm and new members are always welcome.

Indoor Bowling: Indoor Bowling continues in the Community Centre, Bailieborough on Wednesday evenings at 8.00pm. New members welcome and free tuition for beginners will be provided.

‘Seconds Nature’: ‘Seconds Nature’ is the title of the first solo exhibition of wildlife photography by local photographer, Colette Gemmill. The exhibition will be hosted by Bailieborough Hub and the opening night will take place in Bailieborough Courthouse on Saturday, November 18th at 7.00pm. All welcome.

Bailieborough Library: In November the Bailieborough Reading Group will be reading ‘The Searcher’ by Tana French. Copies of the book are available in the Library and the next meeting of the Book Club will take place in the Library on Tuesday, November 28th at 6.30pm.

Library Craft Group every Friday at 10.30am-12.30pm. Enjoy a chat and a cuppa whilst sharing ideas. All Welcome!

Halloween ‘Scary Night’: Huge ‘Thank You’ to the over 800 people who walked our ‘Scary Walk’ on last Monday night, October 30th.  Well done to everyone for your time in the setting up of the event. Bailieborough Craft Group: The Group meets every Friday from 10am-12.30pm in the Library and new members are always welcome regardless of talents or skills.

Careers: Thinking of changing career, need advice on careers, educational needs, CV help, interview skills – CMETB (Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board) will facilitate a FREE drop in service at the Library on the first Wednesday—please note the change of day— of each month from 2pm-4.30pm. The advisors will be present on Wednesday, December 6th.  No appointment is necessary.

Bailieborough Men’s Shed: Bailieborough ‘Men’s Shed’ is open every Tuesday morning from 10.00am to 1.00pm in the Bexcourt Centre, Shercock Road. New members are always most welcome.

East Cavan Swim Club: Calling all parents / guardians to join us at our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 23rd  November at 8.00pm, in the Hotel Bailie.

Bailieborough Shamrocks G.F.C.: The ‘Shamrocks are holding a ‘Country Night and Disco’ in the Clubhouse in St. Anne’s Park on Friday, November 24th. Music on the night will be provided by, Kelan Browne and D.J. Gareth Mulhall and the event will commence at 9.30pm. All welcome.

Also congratulations and well done to the Shamrocks, Under 14  Camogie team and their management on a comprehensive win in the Division  1 Final—held in Knockbride on Sunday last—when they defeated Drumgoon by 4—9 to 1—2. 

Please remember that the Shamrocks Bingo takes place in the Club House at St. Anne’s Park and also online every Tuesday at 8.00pm. Great prizes to be won!

Walk, Jog or Run:   Now that the evenings are getting short again we will be starting back,  running and walking for all levels,  beginners and advanced. Fun and free, social gathering in the Chapel car park,  Lake Shore,  Bailieborough at 8pm. All old and new people welcome.  It’s a well lit up run.  Stretch before and afterwards, every Monday and Wednesday evening.

Table Quiz; The East Cavan Gaels Annual ‘Table Quiz’ takes place on Friday 1st December in The Square Bar, Bailieborough. This is always a good social occasion as well as a good fundraiser for the club. All support is much appreciated.
