CHARITY WALK / RUN:
Thank you to the many, many people who took part in the Charity Walk in memory of Ann Clerkin, Curkish, which took place on Saturday last in glorious sunshine. The funds raised on the day will be donated to Bailieborough Cancer Comfort Fund, Drumlin House Cootehill and MS Ireland (The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland) Cavan Branch.

Congratulations to the children in St. Anne’s National School and the Model National School who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday last, in St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough. Help to reduce waste by putting a ‘No Junk Mail ‘sign on your door. The clean-up around the town continues, every Tuesday evening at 7 pm, meet around Main Street each week.
Bailieborough Tidy Towns request that all business, property and home owners would help out, by giving their property a face lift in preparation for the Tidy Towns Competition. The judging will begin on June 1st. The local ‘Clean Up’ continues on Tuesdays at 7pm. All welcome.

A 5km ‘Fun Run/Walk/Crawl’ in aid of the Parent’s Association’s Fund to complete a Sensory Garden for the School will take place on Saturday, June 9th. The Run starts at 11.30am from the Model School. This is not a timed event and refreshments will be served afterwards. It is for the whole family to enjoy.
The price for registration is €5 Child, €10 Adult or €15 Family. All welcome.
