St. Annes: Current Covid-19 Restrictions: Public Masses are suspended until at least 31st January. All Masses and Parish Funerals can be viewed on the Parish webcam or can be heard by tuning in the radio to 107.8 F.M.

From last Sunday, only six guests may participate in a wedding. At present only 10 people may attend a Funeral. No baptisms may take place at the present time.

Due to Covid restrictions, the Parish Office will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Please feel free to contact Fr. Ultan for assistance on 087 341 8037 or 042 96 65117.   

Deepest Sympathy: Deepest Sympathy is extended to wife Rita, sons and daughters Rachel, Seamus, Vivienne, Elaine, John, Miriam, Laura and Eugene,  brothers,  Joe, Anthony, Vincent , Peadar and Nudie, sisters, Carmel and Mai, sisters-in-law, brother in law , seven grandchildren Joshua, Adam, Ruby, Ellen, Peter, John and Ben. nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends on the death of Jim Brady, 14 Tandragee , Bailieborough, Co Cavan who passed away suddenly at Cavan General Hospital.on Thursday, December 24th . Jim was predeceased by his parents Margaret and James, his brothers Paddy and Laurence, sister Margaret and grandson Jamie. 

Jim’s Funeral Mass took place in St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough on Sunday, December 27th and following which, his remains were laid to rest in St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Regretted Death: Deepest Sympathy is extended to husband Brendan Moran, daughter Shanndonna, son-in-law David Rabbitte, grandchildren Clodagh, Alfie and Alex, parents Phill and Declan Tallon, sister Audrey, and her partner Vincent Canavan, father-in-law, mother-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends on the death of Caroline Tallon, Carrickacrommin, Grousehall, Baileborough, Co. Cavan and formerly of Trim Co Meath, who passed away peacefully in Cavan General Hospital on Friday, December 25th, 2020.

Caroline’s Funeral Mass took place in St Michael’s Church, Clifferna, on Sunday, December 27th followed by cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan .

Bailieborough Library: Unfortunately, due to the new Level 5 restrictions, the Library will remain closed for the foreseeable future. The online Library is available, anytime, anywhere! Throughout the coming weeks, you can access free eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines, online courses and international newspapers! Our delivery service to members of our community who are vulnerable/cocooning will continue for the foreseeable future.

Deepest Sympathy: Deepest Sympathy is extended to the Cullen, Traynor, Lynch and Nolan families on the death of Margaret (Peggy) Traynor (nee Cullen), Bartlemy, Cork and formerly of Togher, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Peggy passed away peacefully at Conna Nursing Home, Conna, Co. Cork on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late Kilian and dear mother of Chris, Kilian, Sr. Marie-Thérése (Kolkata), Aileen (Crowley) and Chanel. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, relatives and friends.

Peggy’s Requiem Mass took place in  St. Bartholomew’s Church, Bartlemy, Co. Cork on Thursday, December 31st with interrment  afterwards in Castlelyons cemetery.
