His graveside oration outlining the wonderful career of the late Paddy Smith TD as a Republican and national political figure received a moving and very generous response. Anthony Fagan’s graveside blessing and prayers for the dead added solemnity and reverence to the occasion. The security and traffic management by Bailieborough Garda was deeply appreciated and ably assisted by local car parking stewards. The beautiful pipe playing by Sean Finnegan, Grace Taite’s moving Last Post and Reveille and Siobhan Proudfoot’ s rendition Amhrán na bhFann all stood out as special moments on the day. ‘Plant for Ireland’ Appeal: Society is facing a mammoth problem of climate change. Control of Co2 by our generation is apparently not doing enough to protect society from world disasters.
If you are concerned ” Lend a hand ” !Plant for Ireland “! We ask for a positive response.
Trees help to fight Co.2, they absorb and remove it from our air, storing it and releasing oxygen.
Those who know tell us that an acre of trees absorb an amount of carbon dioxide to driving your car 26,000 miles. Even more true, we hear that one tree can produce enough oxygen for 4 people and annually for 18 people.
Trees absorb pollutant gases such as Nitrogen Oxide , sulphur and Dioxide , specialists tell us.
Should you “Fear for the future” will you join our campaign and “Plant for Ireland”! It is in all our interests.
