Nora Laffey (nee Clarke) Long Island, New York and formerly The Cottage Leitrim, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 26th December 2020. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mike), parents John and Helen and brothers Sean & Brendan. Deeply regretted by her daughter Eilleen, sons Michael, John, Kevin and Jimmy, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters Bridie, Margaret Rose, Helen Jean, brothers James Patrick and Austin, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Nora’s Mass and Funeral will take place in Long Island Thursday, 31st Dec., at 11am U.S. time.

Jim Brady, 14 Tandragee , Bailieborough Co Cavan Died 24th Dec 2020 suddenly at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and James, his brothers Paddy and Laurence, sister Margaret and grandson Jamie. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rita his loving sons and daughters Rachel, Seamus, Vivienne, Elaine, John, Miriam, Laura and Eugene. Brothers Joe, Anthony, Vincent , Peadar and Nudie, sisters Carmel and Mai, sisters-in-law, brother in law , his seven grandchildren Joshua, Adam, Ruby, Ellen, Peter, John and Ben. Nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Peter Shaffrey, Bailieborough, Ballyjamesduff, Kenilworth Square and Sandymount, aged 86 passed away December 10th 2020 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Lorna and the late Maura. Adored father to Aisling, Donnough, Peter, Ciara, Cian and Áine, his 15 cherished grandchildren, daughters and sons in-law. Sadly missed by his brother Paddy, extended family and friends.

Leo O’Connor, late of Drumcondra, Dublin and formerly of Nolagh, Co. Cavan, passed suddenly and peacefully at home on 27th November 2020; beloved son of the late Michael and Mary, much loved and sadly missed by his loving sons, Michael, Brian and Jonathan, their mother Mary, their partners, Bernadette, Suzanne and Jindra, his cherished grandchildren Mary, Sean, Petr, Meabh and Grace, his brothers Johnny, Danny, Eddie and Patsy, his sisters Ita, Teresa, Annette, Maisie, Bridie and Christina, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Sharon McCartney (nee Bell), Shancarnan, Moynalty, Kells, Co Meath. Died peacefully on the 28th November 2020.
