Bailieborough Drama Group: Bailieborough Drama Group presents ‘ A&E’ by Henry Hudson in the Shamrocks Clubhouse on Friday evening next, June 6th at 8pm.
Directed by Fergal Donnelly.
The Cast includes Paddy Sheanon, Conor Shaffrey, Liz O’Hanlon, Iram Srafford, Ryan Brady, Charlene Cadden, Niall Donnelly and Cyril Keegan.

New Defib: We are delighted to announce the recent purchase of an AED (defibrillator) located in the Bailieborough Development Association – Business Centre, Shercock Road. The defib was jointly purchased by Rehabcare Rehab Group, tenants of the BDA building and the Bailieborough Development Association. The Rehabcare participants have recently attended a CPR workshop delivered by the Bailieborough Red Cross and each participant has been awarded a certification on completion.

Drumacarrow, Bailieborough, Co.Cavan.
Cecelia Kelly, Drumacarrow, Bailieborough, Co Cavan passed away on Saturday, 24th May 2025 peacefully, surrounded by her family at Cavan General Hospital. Cecelia was predeceased by her husband Sean and son Gabriel, sister Lucy and brother Philip.
Sadly missed by her loving sons Damien, John and Raymond, daughter Deborah, daughters-in-law Mairead, Denise and Betty, son-in-law Cathal, sister Joeen, brother Leo, grandchildren John, Donal, James, Ashley, Matthew, Jonathan, Niamh, Cora, Shane, Cormac and Sean, great grandchildren Josh, Harry, Alanah, Grace and Franki, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Cecelia’s Funeral Mass took place in St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough on Monday, May 26th and afterwards, Cecelia’s remains were laid to rest in St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Cavan and late of Bohermore, Co Galway, on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Nora was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary, brothers Stephen, Dominic and Martin and sisters Mary and Helen.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband Sean, son David, daughter Fiona (Albert), sister Kathleen, brother Michael, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends.

Nora’s Funeral Mass took place on Friday, May 30th in St. Patrick’s Church, Tierworker and afterwards, Nora’s remains were laid to rest in Moybolgue Cemetery.

Regretted Death: The death has occurred of Maureen Sheridan (née Matthews), Monaghanoose, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan on Friday 30th May 2025, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Maureen was predeceased by her parents Charles and Katie, beloved husband Ted, infant sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Pat.

Each bag contains two fabulous books, one on starting school and one on making friends, a special library card wallet and a range of resources for parents and children to support the transition to primary school. Library membership is FREE and you can continue to top up your book bag with new stories and adventures anytime you visit your local library.
The craft group takes place every Friday at 11am in the Library.
