SVP Shop, Bailieborough:

We wish to inform you that Cavan County Council has instructed the Society to remove the SVP clothes bin in the Tesco Car Park. This bin has provided the Society with valuable donations for our local community. From now on, we are requesting donors to take donations to the bin in the Church Car Park or directly to the shop. It would seem to be a commercial decision on the part of Cavan County Council since, unlike other bin providers, we haven’t heretofore been required to rent the bin space. Thank you for all donations and we would like to emphasise that we are open as normal even though there is scaffolding in front of the shop.
