Deepest Sympathy: Deepest Sympathy is extended to wife Sadie, sons Sean, T.M., Damien and Mark, daughters Caroline and Angela, daughters in law, Josephine and Paula, sons in law Seamus and T.J., brother in law Christie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbors and friends on the death of Thomas (Tom) Smith, Dromore, Bailieborough, Co Cavan, who passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 26th, 2021.  

Tom’s Funeral Mass took place in St. Annes Church, Bailieborough on Tuesday, December 28th and afterwards, Tom’s remains were laid to rest in St. Annes Cemetery.

Masses in St. Annes: Feast of the Epiphany: Vigil Mass on Wednesday, January 5th at 7.00pm. Day Mass on Thurday, January 6th at 10.00am. Mass on Friday, January 7th at 7.00pm.

Eucharistic Adoration: Eucharistic Adoration will resume after the 9.30am Mass until 11.00am on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022.

Bailieborough Heritage Society: Bailieborough Heritage Society would like to thank everyone who contributed to our recent photographic exhibition and the many who called and regaled us with stories.  This exhibition received financial assistance from Cavan County Council’s Community Enhancement Programme 2021.

We know finding a parking spot, especially on Main Street at this time of year, is tricky. So feel free to park up, stroll through the shop onto Main Street and shop to your heart’s content!
