A special type of travel service takes off in Co. Cavan
The concept of having your own personal travel agent who gives you the best possible personal service around the clock may be relatively new, but it’s clearly proving a great success with customers in Co. Cavan which now has a new travel Counsellor in the area.
Bailieborough based Glenda Heery has just launched her own travel business as part of one of the world’s fastest growing travel agencies Travel Counsellors, offering a truly unique and bespoke service at a time to suit her customers, including evenings and weekends.
Travel Counsellors is a travel agency – with a twist. All of its advisors are equipped with leading edge technology which allows them to work flexibly. As part of the fastest growing independent travel agency in Ireland, and a world leading company with over 1,300 agents worldwide, Glenda can use this technology to search through literally hundreds of suppliers in a matter of minutes to find the best options for their customers.
Glenda, who most recently worked in an agency in Navan, comments; “After 11 years in the travel industry, I am delighted to have joined Travel Counsellors. The company will be supporting me in all areas of my business so I can focus on what I love and do best – finding the perfect holidays for my customers. Plus as we are independent and have the very best in-house booking technology it means I am free to choose the right products at the best prices that suit my customers’ individual needs.”
This unique way of selling travel has proved to be an unquestionable success as Glenda joins a large team of nearly 60 Travel Counsellors in the Republic of Ireland supported by their head office in Cork. The company is licensed and bonded by the Commission for Aviation Regulation in Ireland.
Glenda adds; “I am also extremely excited about running my own business as part of such an innovative and customer focused Travel Company. As I run my business from home I am more than happy to speak to my customers at a time that suits them, even if it is outside normal working hours.
